A (Prom)ise was my first completed novel. I wrote it from 2002-2004 and completed the mostly final draft in 2006. It is the story of a nervous, alienated, hopelessly in love high school teenager who reluctantly joins his friends at the time-honored tradition, high school prom.
I am careful editing one more draft of this novel and then plan to publish in late 2024. I say carefully because I am now a 42 year old man, and I don’t want to lose the youthful voice I had when I created this work.
I am extremely proud of this novel, and since I didn’t really know what I was doing when I first wrote it, I have a ton of extra scenes, concept art and other tidbits I will release once the listing is out in the world!
